Vazhakkai varuval is another vegetable same as potato and kids love it when we stir fry it. It is a nice combo for curd rice, rasam rice.
Ingredients:
- Raw Banana - 1
- Sambar powder - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coconut powder - 1 tbsp
- Roasted gram flour - 1 tbsp
- Idly podi - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 5
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Cooking Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add Mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
- Add curry leaves, sambar powder,salt and Vazhakkai. Mix it nicely.
- Add Coconut powder and sprinkle a tbsp of water.
- Cook for 5 to 6 mins or until tender.
- Add roasted gram flour and idly podi. Give a nice stir.
- Serve hot with rice.
