Crispy Fried Chicken


It is a simple dish which can be prepared within 15 mins and a perfect snack for kids. Lets see the step by step procedure:

Ingredients:

  • Chicken legs/ wings - 4
  • All purpose flour/ Tempura flour - 1/4 cup
  • Red chilly powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic powder - 1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Buttermilk - 4 tbsp
  • Breadcrumbs - 1/4 cup
  • Oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions:

  • Mix everything except breadcrumbs and make a thick paste. Marinate chicken for 10 mins.
  • Coat with breadcrumbs completely.
  • Heat oil for deep frying. Fry till both sides turn golden brown. Remove the excess oil using tissue. Unlike store bought fried chicken this recipe don't sucks oil.
  • Serve hot with mayo and ketchup.
