Radish greens are an excellent source of vitamin c, calcium and protein same as other types of green leaves. we can cook it in the same way as other leaves.
Ingredients:
- Radish Leaves - 1 bunch
- Small onion - 10
- Garlic - 5
- Coconut - 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- For Tempering:
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - a pinch
- Red chilly - 1
Cooking Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the ingredients for tempering one after the other.
- Add onion and garlic and saute till translucent.
- Add finely chopped leaves, salt and sprinkle a tbsp of water.
- Once the leaves cooked, add the shredded coconut and switch off.
