Being a mom is a tough job and it becomes 200% tough when it comes to feeding the kid. It is necessary to initiate healthy eating in home. But everyone in home has their own taste. If one likes egg the other likes veggie. It is difficult to cook separate for each and everyone. So i'll inherit my cooking by adding egg in cooked veggie. Hence satisfied both of them. I used to add eggs in beans, broad beans and cabbage. Here is the procedure:
Ingredients:
- Beans - 250gms
- Egg - 2
- Onion - 1
- Salt to taste
For Tempering:
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilly - 2
Cooking Instructions:
- Finely chop onion and beans.
- Heat oil in a pan, add all the ingredients for tempering one after the other.
- Add Onion and saute till translucent.
- Add Beans, salt, and sprinkle water. Cover and cook till the vegetable is fully cooked.
- Break two eggs and stir it immediately along with the vegetable.
- Cook till the egg is completely cooked.
