Slow Cooker Mutton Curry/ Slow Cooked Lamb Curry

Slow cooked foods are good for health and tastes yummy. It remembers grandma's cooking. Let's see the step by step procedure:

Ingredients:

For Marination:

  • Mutton - 1/2 kg
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Curd - 2 tbsp

Others:

  • Onion - 2
  • Tomato - 2
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Bay leaves - 1
  • Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
  • Cloves - 1
  • Cardamom - 1
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instruction:

  • Marinate mutton for 1 hr.
  • Press 'Saute' option and add oil. Add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves & cardamom. Saute onion till it translucent. Add Ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes.
  • Add marinated mutton and saute till the juice of the mutton evaporates. Add tomato and cook for 3 to 4 mins.
  • Add salt and half a  cup of water. Cancel 'Saute' mode.
  • Turn on 'Slow Cooker' option, adjust to 'More' and set for 2hrs. Close the lid and seal it.
  • Once done, open the lid and add garam masala, coriander leaves. Again press 'Slow Cooker' option, adjust to 'less' for 30mins.
  • Serve hot with rice or roti.
