Slow cooked foods are good for health and tastes yummy. It remembers grandma's cooking. Let's see the step by step procedure:
Ingredients:
For Marination:
- Mutton - 1/2 kg
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Curd - 2 tbsp
Others:
- Onion - 2
- Tomato - 2
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
- Bay leaves - 1
- Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
- Cloves - 1
- Cardamom - 1
- Coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Cooking Instruction:
- Marinate mutton for 1 hr.
- Press 'Saute' option and add oil. Add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves & cardamom. Saute onion till it translucent. Add Ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes.
- Add marinated mutton and saute till the juice of the mutton evaporates. Add tomato and cook for 3 to 4 mins.
- Add salt and half a cup of water. Cancel 'Saute' mode.
- Turn on 'Slow Cooker' option, adjust to 'More' and set for 2hrs. Close the lid and seal it.
- Once done, open the lid and add garam masala, coriander leaves. Again press 'Slow Cooker' option, adjust to 'less' for 30mins.
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
