Onion chutney - My MIL's recipe. She used to travel a lot and she never eat outside. She prepare this chutney along with idly and chapathi's while in tour. This one stays good for 3 to 4 days in room temperature. The main thing in this recipe is to saute the onions before and after grinding.

Cooking Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add red chillies and saute for a min.
- Add onions, garlic and salt. saute till it turn golden brown.
- Add tamarind and saute for a min. Allow it to cool and grind it smoothly.
- Heat oil in a pan, Add mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
- Add chutney and cook till the color changes and water evaporates.
