Prawn Pepper Fry


Prawn pepper fry is a perfect combo for sambar, rasam and curd rice too.

Ingredients:

   Prawn Pepper Fry                                 
      Cooking Time : 20 mins
  • Prawn - 250gms
  • Small Onion - 15 to 20
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - a Handful
  • Gingelly Oil - 2 tbsp


Cooking Instructions:

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add Cumin seeds, Curry leaves and allow it to splutter. Add onions, turmeric powder and saute till it turn golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes. 
  • Add all the spice powders, salt and cook for another 3 to 5 mins. Add prawns and cook in low flame for 6 to 8 mins till the onion masala coats in the prawns.
