An instant recipe which can be done within 30 mins. The best combo is any dry variety of mutton and chicken or simply serve along with cucumber raita.
Ingredients:
- Potato - 2
- Basmati rice - 1 cup
- Onion - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Green chilly - 2
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Biryani Pulao Masala - 2 tsp
- Bay leaf - 1
- Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
- Cloves - 1
- Cardamom - 1
- Star anise - 1
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water - 1&1/2cup
Cooking Instructions:
- Soak rice for 30 mins.
- Press 'Saute' option and add ghee.
- Add all the tempering ingredients.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
- Add green chilly and onion. Saute till it turn translucent.
- Add turmeric powder, salt, pulao masala and potato. Sprinkle water and cook for 3 to 4 mins.
- Add rice and water. Cancel 'Saute' option and turn on 'Rice' mode. Close the lid and seal it.
- Serve hot with raita.
