Mushroom potato sandwich


Ingredients:

   Mushroom Sandwich                                
      Preparation Time :15  mins
  • Mushroom - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Potato - 2 small
  • Onion - 1/4 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Madras curry powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Bread slices
  • Butter - to toast

Note: Madras curry powder - is a combination of coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder.

Cooking Instructions:

  • Finely chop mushroom. I used my chopper. You can also grind without adding water.
  • Heat a tsp of oil in a skillet, add onion and ginger garlic paste. Saute till raw flavour removes. Then, add chilly powder and curry powder.
  • Add chopped mushroom and cook till it shrinks. Now add salt, cooked & mashed potatoes. Mix everything well. Keep aside.
  • Take a bread slice, spread mushroom filling, some chopped onions and cover with another slice. 
  • Heat a skillet and add butter, Once butter melted add the bread slice and toast on both sides till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
