Chicken Gizzard


Ingredients:

   Chicken Gizzard                                
      Cooking Time : 1 hr
  • Chicken Gizzard - 200gms
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Groundnut oil - 2 tbsp
  • Coconut milk - 1/4 cup
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - a sprig

Cooking Instructions:

  • Heat oil in a kadai, add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Then add onion and ginger garlic paste. Saute till raw flavour removes.
  • Add tomato, spice powders and gizzard. Saute well.
  • Add coconut milk, little water and salt. Cover and cook till chicken turns soft and tender. Remove the lid and cook till you reach the consistency.
