Instant Mor Kuzhambu


Ingredients:

   Instant Mor Kuzhambu                                 
      Cooking Time : 10 mins
  • Yogurt/ Curd- 1/2 cup
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - a sprig
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp

     For Grinding:

  • Toor dal - 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Raw rice - 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilly - 3
  • Curry leaves - a sprig

Cooking Instructions:

  • Heat a pan, add toor dal, fenugreek seeds, raw rice and red chilly one by one. Roast for a couple of mins or till color changes.
  • Grind roasted ingredients along with coconut and curry leaves.
  • Beat the curd well. Add the ground paste and mix everything nicely. Add salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add the curd mixture and heat it for 3 to 4 mins in a medium flame. Don't allow it to boil.
  • Serve hot with rice and potato fry.
