Ingredients:
Paneer Pulao Cooking Time : 30 mins
- Basmati Rice - 1 cup
- Paneer - 200gms
- Onion - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Green chilly - 2
- Mixed vegetables - 1/2 cup (I used carrot, beans, peas, corn)
- Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coconut Milk - 3/4 cup
- Water - 3/4 cup
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Bay leaf - 1
- Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
- Cloves - 2
- Cardamom - 2
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cooking Instructions:
- Soak Rice for half-an hour.
- Heat Ghee and oil in saute mode, add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom and cumin seeds. Then add ginger garlic paste and saute for a min. Now add onion, green chilly and saute for a couple of mins.
- Add vegetables and saute for 3 to 4 mins. Add coconut milk, water and salt. Now add soaked rice, garam masala and 1/2 tsp of ghee and mix well.
