Bottle Gourd Pakoda


Ingredients:

   Bottle Gourd Pakoda                              
      Cooking Time : 20 mins
  • Bottle Gourd - 1 cup (Shredded)
  • Onion - 1 (Finely Chopped)
  • Gram Flour - 1/4 cup
  • Rice Flour - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Hing - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Hot oil - 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions:

  • Remove the skin and seeds from bottle gourd. Shred it finely. Squeeze the excess water from it. Keep aside for 5 mins and squeeze once again.
  • Add everything except oil and make a thick dough. Use little water if needed.
  • Heat oil in a kadai for frying. Take a tsp of oil in that, add it to the dough and mix well. (This step is to necessary so that the pakoda do not drink too much oil.)
