Thengai Podi Saadham


Ingredients:

   Thengaai Podi Saadham                                
      Cooking Time : 10 mins
  • Cooked Rice - 1 cup
  • Coconut - 1/4 cup
  • Red chilly - 1
  • Curry Leaves - a sprig
  • Asafoetida - a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 tsp

     For Podi:

  • Coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Channa dal - 3/4 tbsp
  • Urad dal - 3/4 tbsp
  • Red chilly - 1

Cooking Instructions:

  • Heat a pan and add everything mentioned under for podi. Roast till golden brown. Cool it completely and grind coarsely. 
  • Heat oil in a pan, add red chilly, curry leaves and asafoetida. Then add coconut and saute for a min.
  • Add the podi, salt and rice. Add a tsp of oil and mix it gently.
