Thengai Podi Saadham
Ingredients:
Thengaai Podi Saadham
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Cooked Rice - 1 cup
Coconut - 1/4 cup
Red chilly - 1
Curry Leaves - a sprig
Asafoetida - a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tsp
For Podi:
Coconut - 2 tbsp
Channa dal - 3/4 tbsp
Urad dal - 3/4 tbsp
Red chilly - 1
Cooking Instructions:
Heat a pan and add everything mentioned under for podi. Roast till golden brown. Cool it completely and grind coarsely.
Heat oil in a pan, add red chilly, curry leaves and asafoetida. Then add coconut and saute for a min.
Add the podi, salt and rice. Add a tsp of oil and mix it gently.
