Cooking Instructions:
- Wash and soak the rice and dal for 3 to 4hrs. Grind it along with cumin seeds, red chilly. Add turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt to the batter and mix well.
- Allow it to ferment for 3hrs.
- Blend the batter once again in mixie smoothly.
- Heat the tawa and spread the batter thinly. Drizzle a tsp of oil and cook on both sides till golden brown.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney, podi.
