White Sauce Pasta


Creamy white sauce pasta is all time favourite for me. If you like to impress your guests with less timing then this italian cuisine ranks first. Olive oil and garlic are the predominant flavours in italian cuisine.

Ingredients:

   White sauce pasta                                
      Cooking Time : 20 mins
  • Onion - 1 
  • Capsicum (Green, Red, Yellow)- 1/4 cup each
  • Mushroom - 1/4 cup
  • Garlic - 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli flakes - 2 tsp
  • Pasta - 2 cups
  • All purpose flour/Maida - 1 tbsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Cheese - 3 slices or 1/4 cup shredded
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil - 2 tsp

Cooking Instructions:

  • Boil water along with salt and oil. Add pasta and cook till done. Strain it completely and run with cold water so that it won't stick later.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and chilli flakes. Saute for a min.
  • Add onion. Mushroom and capsicum. Saute slightly so that the crunchiness retains.
  • Add butter and wait till it melts. Then add maida, milk and mix it thoroughly inorder to avoid any lumps. (It'll start to thicken in a couple of mins). Cook in a medium flame.
  • Now add Salt and cheese. 
  • Add the boiled pasta and cook in a low flame till it thickens.( You can top up with another slice of cheese).
