Thakkali thokku - It is an excellent side dish for rice, idly, dosa and chapati. you can refrigerate it for a week. We used to go for a picnic twice in a year during my childhood days. My mom prepare this thokku along with idly, chapati during the trip as we can't expect home food while travelling. It stays good for 3 to 4 days without refrigerate.

- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a wide open pan. Add tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy and cooked well.
- Heat a pan and dry roast a tsp of mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds. Once done crush it using mortar and pestle.
