Sweet paniyaram is kid's favourite evening snack. It gives excellent taste if palm jaggery is used. We can prepare this paniyaram immediately after grinding the batter.

- Rinse & Soak raw rice, idly rice and poha together for 2 hrs. Likewise soak urad dal & fenugreek seeds separately for 2 hrs.
- Grind urad dal to a smooth batter. Then grind rice along with urad dal batter. (I used mixie for grinding). Grind it as a thick batter because after adding jaggery it will become slight watery.
- Shred Jaggery using shredder.
- Add jaggery, salt, baking soda to the batter and mix it nicely.
- Heat appe pan, add 1/4 tsp of oil in each hole followed by batter till 3/4th of the hole. Cook on a medium flame and once the edges turns golden, turn and cook over the other side using a knife or fork.
