Ingredients:
Idly Podi
Cooking Time : 30 mins
Urad dal - 1/4 cup
Channa dal - 1/4 cup
Red chilly -10 to 12
Garlic - 4 to 6 pods
Curry leaves - a sprig
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions:
Dry roast urad dal and channa dal separately till golden brown. With a tsp of oil, roast chilly, garlic, curry leaves, asafoetida and salt.
Allow it to cool completely and grind it smoothly. Store in air tight container.
