Idly Podi


Ingredients:

   Idly Podi                                
      Cooking Time : 30 mins
  • Urad dal - 1/4 cup
  • Channa dal - 1/4 cup
  • Red chilly -10 to 12
  • Garlic - 4 to 6 pods
  • Curry leaves - a sprig
  • Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:

  • Dry roast urad dal and channa dal separately till golden brown.  With a tsp of oil, roast chilly, garlic, curry leaves, asafoetida and salt.
  • Allow it to cool completely and grind it smoothly. Store in air tight container.
